My original post on LockInfo here: http://jordandev.info/?p=148
You may be familiar with teehan+lax’s mock photos of what they consider to be what the iPhone desperately needs, a new lockscreen. It looked suspiciously like a better looking LockInfo. Well ame235 took it upon himself to take their idea and create a new theme for LockInfo with it. And I have to say, it looks great. It is much better than the stock LockInfo.
Here is my old LockInfo:
And here is it with the new theme applied:
You can still collapse the categories:
And it has a nice slide out calendar under the clock:
To get this theme download the “235 teehanlax LockInfo Theme” from Cydia/RockApp and apply it with Winterboard.
Not all plugins are supported at the moment (Weathericon, Todo, Twitter, and the new Push plugin are all not working), but according to recent posts on his website (http://www.ame235.com/ame235/) he has already built support for them. You can try out the beta if you download it from there.
Beta:

@Allen – If you are using the older version of the theme from Cydia then you must edit the config file inside of the theme’s folder with the weather code. If you are using the newer beta version then the weather uses your WeatherIcon settings.

@ Jordan -Hey, i am a little new at this so i might need a simpler explanation. There is like 2 version of the theme of cydia. I downloaded both. i also set my weather to default which is Toronto, but still same problem, and i cant also get the todo icon and the notification icon to show? I honestly do not know y.
Thank You

@Allen – not sure… there is only 1 version on Cydia for me… the Weather needs to be edited in the JavaScript file in the theme folder and to get the Todo and Push working you will need to install the beta off of http://www.ame235.com

@Allen – there is an option in the LockInfo settings to Hide Empty or not.
Are you using LockInfo 2.0? If so then Push notifications should be working by default.

@ Jordan, I think i am using the 2.0 version. Push notification works now, only when i actually get it. Also my weather doesnt change, its been stuck on the weather, even when i update my weather on iphone…What can i do? Thanks Jordan.

@Allen: So you have WeatherIcon installed? And in Settings under WeatherIcon it is on the correct Application choice? I use WeatherEye and it works well.

I can only see the Weather and the Calendar. Yes, I changed and switched just about everything to try to get this to work.

@Clem: install the newest one from http://www.ame235.com and it comes with it’s own preferences, otherwise you must edit the config.js file to tell it whether empty items show up or not

If you have an old version of the plugin you need to edit the config text file in the theme’s folder, or if you have a new version the WeatherIcon plugin should use whatever weather app you select settings.

Jordan, why did you delete my comments?

Because you are complaining about bugs in a piece of software that I do not develop for or support. And not even just the basic software but a skin or modification of that software that was made by a user of LockInfo.
If you had read anything I had written you might understand this or even see the multiple links that I have posted to the creators website at http://www.ame235.com.
I didn’t even understand your problem anymore because any version of the skin you can get now has a built in config settings screen so there is no need to edit config files anymore.
So… sorry?

I have installed the new LockInfo 2.2.4.14 and downloaded the beta from ame235′s website from his latest post:
http://www.ame235.com/ame235/2010/02/22/235-teehanlax-beta-cannot-follow/
However, with my iphone after activating it in winterboard and setting up all my settings in (settings > lockinfo > 235 Teenhanlex) it doesn’t show the time or weather on my iphone. However, when I download the 0.92 version of 235 Teenhanlex it shows the time and weather, but I don’t know how to change the weather options in the config file. Also when I click the time it doesn’t pop up with the 30 day calender.
Do you know what is going on?
